Trip to India

Last month, I took time off from my adventures in real estate to enjoy an adventure in the Himalayas of India. I rode a motorcycle through the Spiti Valley area between Tibet and Pakistan with 12 riders, three guides, two mechanics (and a doctor). It was nice to just be present in something I love. Simply enjoying the journey, learning about a new place, and connecting with new people.

Yes, some of it was pretty wild. The shrines, villages, monasteries, and people were incredibly beautiful. I came home refreshed, feeling lighter, and ready to experience my journey here and to appreciate the familiar as much as I did my Himalayan adventure.

I know not everyone is feeling this way with a contentious election, the holidays, and mixed messages about the economy and other local and world events. There’s only so much we can control and so much we can enjoy that we often ignore. As we enter the fall and the upcoming holiday season, I hope you and your loved ones can enjoy a little peace, be in the moment, and enjoy the journey that we are each on.
